The Retail General Manager, an exempt position based in Helena, MT, directs and controls the administration of a Sales Center, planning and implementing goals in line with corporate procedures and being directly responsible for the center’s profit and loss.
The General Manager directly supervises Sales Center employees, handling interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and problem resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Plan and develop operational growth, explore expansion opportunities, and evaluate competitor markets
- Hire, train, and develop Sales Center employees for long‑term productivity
- Conduct regular training programs for all staff
- Support the team in continually prioritizing leads
- Help move transactions through the sales pipeline
- Ensure sales processes are followed consistently
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, installers, and contractors
- Maintain a pristine, customer‑friendly Sales Center appearance
- Engage with customers and team members
