- Supervise junior laboratory technicians, as needed
- Lead or participate in laboratory accreditation and audits
- Proactively identify technical issues and help mitigate risk
- Support strategic business development initiatives for the lab within the A/E/C sector, identifying new client opportunities and expanding service offerings.
- Support concrete mix trial verification activities
- Conduct personnel training in applicable testing standards and inspection practices
- Participate in developing and managing client relationships with project management team
- Oversee lab operations to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of testing services.
- Participate in proposal preparation and marketing activities with management team
- Provide field support and guidance for junior staff on complex field conditions
- Participate in professional organization activities
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote lab capabilities and success stories.
- Perform laboratory testing of soils, concrete and concrete constituents
- Represent the lab at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance visibility and brand positioning.
- Interact with client representatives (supervisors, foremen, project managers, engineers, etc.) at project sites
- Maintain or pursue professional certifications as needed

- Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Reliability – must be able to arrive at designated project sites prior to scheduled times
- Certifications might include a combination of GDOT RTT, ICC soils, ACI concrete, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC masonry, NPDES Level 1A or 1B
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in variable outside conditions
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
- 11+ years of related experience on variety of complex projects preferred
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
