  • Ensure separate GEV BU & partner bids get qualified/optimized/integrated while limiting liabilities and ensuring executability.
  • Provide strategic cross-business coordination and enable commercial structuring of integrated projects, and establish PCO processes and governance in the Pre-ITO, ITO and OTR phases in collaboration with the Business Units (BU) and Consulting Services (CS).
  • The essential responsibilities include but not limited to defining, planning, and coordinating enterprise level tendering and project execution, identifying and resolving resources challenges, and providing strategic direction to the broader team as required to meet GEV objectives. The Portfolio Leader also ensures appropriate risk management and drives compliance with corporate directives and EHS standards.
  • Identify and connect industry enablers and partners including EPCs and investors for enterprise projects.
  • Proactively support mitigation of project risks in partnership with fulfillment functions through influencing BU functions such as Global Supply Chain, Engineering, and others to ensure engagement and drive major customer issue resolution early.
  • Facilitate customer claims resolution and settlements with leadership buy-in across GEV.
  • Incorporate lessons learned from BU’s and over time PCO (Project Coordination Office) projects execution and establish feedback loop between ITO and OTR teams.
  • Orchestrate overall Commercial Structure for enterprise projects across BU’s including Equipment Contracts, SPV, Consortia/Partners, Prime/Sub, etc., in conjunction with Financial Services as needed.
  • Support the development of the project execution strategy during the bidding phase working with key functions to drive effective implementation and solve process delays.
  • Work alongside the business units to enable the Sales and Commercial teams to effectively prepare robust proposals that minimize execution risk, ensuring seamless transition to execution.
  • Lead and coordinate strategic framework and MSA discussions with enterprise customers in collaboration with BU’s.
  • Influence contract development, drive risk mitigation and enable alignment on scope, cost, and schedule across BU’s in collaboration with the Chief Risk Office (CRO) and Consulting Services (CS).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college and/or equivalent power plant knowledge / experience.
  • Strong team player with interpersonal, communication, influencing and team building skills.
  • Strong understanding of project business cases, encompassing impacts as project objectives, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Strong customer-orientation focus and passion to win.
  • Proven record of success working in a multicultural, regional, cross functional team.
  • 15 years of complex power plant projects structuring and execution experience spanning different power generation technologies including Wind, Nuclear, Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, and Aero Derivative Gas Turbine.
  • Power Plant Project Management leadership experience and knowledge.
  • Master’s in Engineering and/or MBA
  • Strong analytical skills used for identification, assessment, analysis and management of project risks / opportunities.
