Sika is hiring an experienced Key Account Manager for its Gastonia, North Carolina location to drive profitable sales growth of Sika technologies across U.S. markets. The role will manage key OEM and tier‑supplier accounts, lead technical solution development, execute strategic initiatives, and identify new business opportunities while maintaining a Salesforce CRM database.
- Lead technical solution development and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within OEMs, tier suppliers, and key decision‑makers.
- Utilize process analysis to understand customer needs and propose appropriate Sika technologies.
- Prepare and deliver formal and informal presentations, seminars, and product trials.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and distribution targets.
- Maintain an accurate Salesforce CRM database and submit timely activity and market reports.
- Forecast monthly sales per account within corporate guidelines.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least five years of progressive sales experience, strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, and excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Preferred qualifications include Mandarin proficiency, familiarity with Chinese business culture, and experience with adhesives, sealants or acoustics in the automotive sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field; minimum five years sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, oral and written communication, analytical and quantitative skills.
- Preferred: proficiency in Mandarin and familiarity with Chinese business culture.
- Familiarity with adhesives, sealants or acoustics in the automotive industry is a plus.
