Help raise purchase orders as needed and maintain filing for event-related documents.
Help develop internal and external communications for various platforms including website, intranet, social media and email marketing.
Support in collecting event participant data (attendance, engagement, etc) and feedback during and after events for the preparation of post-event reports.
Assist in developing materials such as presentations and information packs.
Support on-site event setup and dismantle, as applicable
Assist in coordinating internal and external event logistics such as venue and accommodation booking, and transportation arrangements.
Update event content on internal and external platforms.
Contribute ideas to internal/external comms campaign planning.
Schedule event-related social media posts and email invitations aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
Support managing third-party contractors to ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
Update digital communication channel stats monthly.
Handle registrations and delegate communications (e.g. confirmation emails, reminders).
Draft weekly internal newsletter.
Maintain event calendars and ensure all relevant stakeholders are updated.

Professional qualification: Completion of the Level 4 Marketing Communications Apprenticeship, which focuses on developing skills in brand management, market research, digital marketing, data analysis and strategic planning.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Practical experience: Hands-on exposure to a wide range of internal and external marketing and communications activities and projects within a global, forward-thinking organization.
Ability to work with diverse teams.
Career development: A pathway to marketing and communication roles within Lightsource bp or the wider industry.
Strong interest in digital and event marketing, internal communications, with a willingness to learn various marketing tools including, but not limited to social media, Brandwatch, Salesforce and MailChimp.
Familiarity with marketing tools, systems, or processes is a plus but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
