Senior Consultant

Description

You’ll combine consulting expertise, commercial awareness, and technical insight to deliver meaningful solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

• Contribute to business growth through repeat work and new client engagement
• Mentor junior consultants and help grow the team’s technical and commercial capability
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Develop proposals, manage bids, and identify new business opportunities
• Lead and deliver consulting projects across areas such as smart metering, flexibility, and low-carbon energy
• Represent the organisation at key events and working groups, sharing insights and thought leadership

Requirements

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead consulting engagements
• Track record in winning business, proposal writing, and solution selling
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of the evolving UK energy landscape (particularly around areas such as smart metering, flexibility and DSR)
• Experience working for a consultancy firm/in a consultancy capacity

Benefits

Location: Hybrid - London or Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 - 65,000 + benefits
