Coordinate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to make sure project specifications and plans are met.
Develop and manage work scopes, budgets, schedules and staff assignments.
Interact with other disciplines (design and survey).
Represent clients at public and project meetings.
Develop proposals, reports, and project plans.
Manage and inspect multiple projects at various locations in the state.
Directing engineering tasks, providing quality control of project deliverables.
Monitor the safety of staff on projects.
Apply specialized technical expertise on a broad range of construction projects relating to roadway construction, water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer primarily for the MDOT and municipal clients.
Provide direction, supervision, technical guidance and support to junior staff.
Monitor project progress and performance and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Michigan Professional Engineer License.
Experience with AASHTO ware, project wise and other construction management software.
Understanding SESC reporting requirements.
A solid understanding and familiarity of MDOT construction requirements, local standards, agency permitting requirements, and MDOT Local Agency Program requirements.
Able to communicate effectively to the team, client and contractors.
Must be able to train less experienced staff and be a team player.
Ability to manage a project schedule, budget and project team.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Experience with road construction, bridge construction, storm sewer construction, sanitary sewer construction and water main construction.
Experience with a wide range of construction projects for both municipal clients and MDOT.
Minimum of 10 years experience.
Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities, and ability to work independently or on a team.
Ability to work remote and in person effectively.
