Field Coordinator

Description

• Schedule material deliveries and manage material, equipment and personnel.
• Accurately records and tracks time and quantities completed daily.
• Documentation of work performed.
• Submit field reports, track time on task, track onsite material inventory and deliveries with Superintendent.
• Manage various scopes of subcontractor work.
• Provide direct in field supervision of production crews.

Requirements

• Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to plan scopes of work 2-3 weeks out
• Four-year degree in construction, engineering or related field or equivalent construction experience
• Ability to lead self-perform crew
• Understanding and working knowledge of the Vaughn safety plan
• Basic knowledge of means and methods of construction scopes
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
• Ability to manage multiple operations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Able to contribute to daily and weekly safety meetings and audits
• Experience reading blueprints/plans
• Self-motivated with the ability to working productively without constant supervision
• Ability to maintain flexibility and work with frequent interruptions and multiple changing priorities
• Experience with large excavation equipment including dozers, track hoes, tractors, scrapers etc.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability
