The Carpenter Foreman I provides direction and supervision to an assigned crew and determines when to delegate or perform the work personally. He/she is fully competent in all facets of construction, erecting, stripping, and repairing structures of steel, wood, or plywood using hand and power tools in accordance with construction documents. Depending on staffing and circumstances, the foreman may also serve as backup supervision on site.

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of related experience, including reading and interpreting construction documents
