In this role you will perform daily quality‑control responsibilities, applying specialized inspection and testing techniques, statistical methods, and quality tools to support the Quality program. You will create inspection reports, recommend corrective actions, validate contractually required standards, and generate documentation that confirms satisfactory completion of inspections and tests.
Work involves outdoor site visits in various weather conditions and some remote tasks, requiring appropriate dress and adherence to safety standards. Candidates must be local to Fremont or Sacramento for site access.
The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, has a strong record of delivering high‑quality work, and enjoys hands‑on problem solving. Required are at least 2 years of experience in telecommunications or construction, the ability to read drawings, permits, and specifications, and computer literacy in Windows and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with a high school diploma (technical school preferred), a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Compensation is production‑based with a minimum hourly rate of $15.50 (or the California minimum wage), plus overtime pay as required by law and paid breaks. The position is at‑will, part‑time, with paid attendance at company meetings and training sessions, and includes all protections and benefits mandated by California law.
