Director of Operations

Description

They are seeking a Director of People and Development to guide the organization’s technical training, quality assurance, and best-practice standards across project and cost management teams. The role includes developing and implementing company-wide training programs and technical operations manuals and ensuring high-quality service delivery across North America.

• Create workshop seminars – online and in-office training sessions across North America
• Lead identification, evaluation, and standardization of project delivery tools, templates, and methodologies
• Act as the firm’s lead technical expert across all aspects of a construction project
• Create management and mentorship training
• Develop and implement company-wide technical operation manual: define best practices, QA/QC protocols, project controls, and client service standards

Requirements

• Experience developing training programs, SOPs, or technical manuals
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Microsoft Project experience is a plus
• 5+ years in a leadership or technical oversight role
• 15+ years’ experience in construction project delivery, preferably with owner’s representative firms or general contractor
