The Role
Overview
Fabricate, form, and deburr sheet metal on 2nd shift
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees. -Study and interpret blueprints or plans and take careful measurements of materials -Help resolve production issues -Operate brake presses to bend, cut and manipulate materials into specified shapes

What You Bring
-Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses. -Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. -Be proficient in scrap out procedures -Have knowledge of product packaging procedures and labeling -Understand and engage in department metrics -Be proficient within applicable computer programs and scanning operations -Have basic understanding of required equipment setups -Ability to stand for long periods of time. -Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable. -Work from Bill of Materials / Print Shop Paper -Punctuality and dependability. -Be proficient in all Standard Operating Procedures for department/cell -Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor. -Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers. -Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts. -Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment. -Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions. -At least 1 year of sheet metal experience -Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds. -Obtain proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment -Close vision -Complete Industrial Lift Certification (as needed) -High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
