Role

Reviewing and validating quotes, method statements, and risk assessments
Overseeing hard services delivery and statutory compliance across the national portfolio
Supporting area managers with PPM and remedial works
Managing outsourced maintenance contracts and internal engineering teams
Managing helpdesk and CAFM functions
Acting as the Authorised Person for Electrical Works, providing technical assurance and leadership
Driving supplier performance through regular reviews and continuous improvement
Supporting future planning and infrastructure strategies
Maintaining and optimising the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule based on SFG20 and manufacturers' guidance
Leading and developing engineering teams to deliver high-quality service in line with H&S and statutory requirements

Authorising Engineer / Authorised Person in M&E disciplines
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
5+ years’ experience in Facilities Management, covering both hard and soft services
Formal project management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APM)
IBOSH qualification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
NEBOSH qualification
Recognised engineering qualification
Membership of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, etc.)
Experience managing technical teams and contractors nationally
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM planning, and energy utilisation
Proven success in leading change management initiatives
