The Wind Site Technician II position at the Voyager site in Tehachapi, CA ensures smooth turbine operation by performing maintenance, troubleshooting and system issue resolution, directly supporting clean, reliable energy for local communities. A $2,500 sign‑on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

The role requires meeting physical demands such as standing, walking, climbing ladders up to 100 m, lifting up to 50 lb, and possessing adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity. Employees must obtain required safety certifications, including LOTO, electrical qualification, fall arrest, high‑angle rescue, and confined‑space training.

• Minimum 6 months wind technician certification or 1 year turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and safety‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a team environment.
• Physically fit to work in various conditions and at heights.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
