The Field Manager (Upstream Chemicals) will lead the Baker Hughes team in the Fort McMurray area, driving business growth, managing customer relationships, and overseeing technical projects that deliver new technologies and solutions to the upstream market.
- Attend business meetings in Fort McMurray to drive growth and development.
- Identify and qualify customer opportunities and needs.
- Analyze technical issues, conduct field testing, and oversee analytical work.
- Troubleshoot field problems and support the District Manager and other Field Managers.
- Coordinate and define field projects to meet customer requirements.
- Complete technical service requests with consultation from the technical group.
- Provide training and mentorship to Account Managers.
- Communicate and roll out new technologies across the area.
- Generate new business with existing customers by applying new technologies.
- Ensure technical and business expectations are met with area customers.

Ideal candidates hold a technical diploma or equivalent, possess at least seven years of experience in SAGD/thermal properties, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills. Proficiency with MS Office and a focus on chemical applications are required, while a Chemical Technology Diploma and over ten years of relevant experience are desired.

- Ability to travel to field sites.
