- Enters sub consultant invoices, tracks their payment terms, and approves them for payment when due
- Ensures contract terms and contacts are accurate
- Monitors collection of Team accounts receivable and follows up either with the Team members and/or Clients on amounts not paid within terms
- Runs reports for management and conducts research to aid in the investigation of billing discrepancies and errors
- Maintains data entry and performs verification
- Sets up new projects and invoice generation
- Responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices
- Manages communication and correspondence to/from Clients regarding commercial matters
- Reviews contracts for new projects for unusual terms or structure that may have an impact on billings
- Prepares monthly billings to clients on Team projects, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
- Investigates project variances and monitors missing billing terms
- Initiates requests for billing information from the Team members and reviews them for accuracy and completeness
- Reviews and approves timesheets and expense reports for Team members.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at time

- 2 years post-high school education or High School diploma with relevant work experience
- Ability to mentor and train other employees
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Deltek-Vantagepoint or similar software is preferred
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read contracts and follow contract requirements regarding commercial terms
- Experience in the engineering and/or the construction industry is a plus
- Strong customer service abilities and attitude
- Strong bookkeeping background
- 2 years prior billing experience
- Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
