Applicants should have at least one year of experience as a Survey Instrument Operator or Instrument Man, with working knowledge of construction staking, level loops, and GPS site calibration. The ability to work with minimal supervision, basic math skills, familiarity with construction terminology, and a strong safety mindset are essential. Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and being at least 18 years old are also required.
The position demands physical stamina: lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lb, squatting, crawling, and working in confined spaces or varying weather conditions. Night‑shift work and travel for out‑of‑town assignments may be necessary.
