Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting and ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service.
Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts and cordial carts.
Deliver and serve welcome drinks, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments etc.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area.
Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
Review and understand Banquet Event Orders or Event Plan to ensure banquet rooms are set as per the customer request.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the banquet/meeting rooms.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.
One to two years of experience in a similar role in an upscale hotel.
Use judgement and reasoning to cope with emergencies.
Dependability and regular attendance.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Knowledge and understanding of various banquet and food service techniques and standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
