The SAP Ariba Lead Technical Analyst – Supply Chain Systems reports to the Senior Manager Solution Architect Procurement CoE and works cross‑functionally with procurement, accounts payable, vendor master, and treasury teams. The role drives implementation, configuration, and expansion of Ariba and other ERP applications, supporting global procurement, supply‑chain collaborations, supplier lifecycle performance, and governance.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing Ariba implementation projects, loading configuration workbooks, building and testing workflows across environments, and preparing Business Requirement Documents for custom and standard features. The analyst supports all testing phases for Ariba B&I and Guided Buying, performs quality testing, reviews release notes, and recommends process improvements. Collaboration with procurement, IT, finance, and shared service organizations is essential, as is acting as a global advisor for complex development within SAP and Oracle Centers of Excellence and defining steady‑state support models.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business, and at least four years of experience developing, configuring, and implementing SAP Ariba, MM, and FI applications. Candidates must have proven project leadership, proficiency in API and SAP web‑service development, and experience with IDoc/ALE, CIG configuration, and source‑to‑pay processes.
Preferred qualifications include two years of experience with SAP ECC or S/4 configuration, familiarity with MDM/vendor master data, and knowledge of Fiori/HANA, NWBC, and EDI. Strong communication, presentation, and Excel skills, the ability to work independently in a global environment, and flexibility to work from the US, Mexico, or Ireland are also valued.
