ICT Design Engineer

Description

You will integrate with all design disciplines and specialists to establish client requirements and provide engineered solutions to meet the clients’ expectations and budgets. You will be working with an experienced team, who will help you grow professionally, to assist delivery of this critical element of our built environment engineering solutions. • Construction (on-onsite / off-site) site monitoring of works and witness testing of ICT systems

Requirements

Short stay ad-hoc UK and international travel may be required (typically Europe and Middle East)

• Candidates should have experience and understanding of the RIBA process, stages, and expected level of deliverable at each stage
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with attention to detail
• Data Networking essentials such as Cisco Certified Network Associate or similar
• Experience designing infrastructure systems for telecommunications/data structured cabling, audio-visual, security, network, and/or wireless systems for architectural projects
• A degree in Electronic Engineering or an ICT related degree preferred or else an industry focused diploma.
• Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
• Experience of CDM Regulations and designer responsibilities
• Working towards BISCI qualification or other relevant recognised industry qualification
