Ability to develop, lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base for Wood Products category.
7+ years of experience in direct sourcing; preferably in the wood products category.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record reducing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk and increase capacity along with a collaborative approach to communication & problem-solving.
Experience in strategic sourcing for multiple production plants from an international supply base.
Wood products category sourcing experience, to include an understanding of the characteristics of wood species and manufacturing processes for millwork, is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts
Experience in applying change mgmt. techniques, lean principles & project management tools is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 10%
