The ITS Works Scheduler ensures efficient and timely delivery of ITS programs by developing and maintaining optimized schedules for maintenance, tactical works, and projects. They coordinate daily workloads, monitor progress, and implement contingency plans to meet performance targets while fostering collaboration across delivery, environmental, asset, and stakeholder teams and driving process improvements.
Key responsibilities include coordinating day‑to‑day scheduling and forecasting for ITS and tactical crews, developing and maintaining programs for planned maintenance, tactical works and special projects, and ensuring work order details align with resources to minimise customer impact. The role also involves scheduling KPI/APM‑related jobs on time, contributing to planning analysis, creating contingency plans, and maintaining strong relationships with delivery, environmental, asset and customer/stakeholder teams.
Candidates should hold a Certificate III in Construction or similar and have at least 2‑3 years of relevant experience. Experience with TfNSW road maintenance, ITS asset management systems, and work on TfNSW electrical, electronic and communications assets is advantageous, along with a current driver’s licence.
