  • Provide senior review and approval of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with UK standards

About the Role – We are seeking an experienced Associate Director level (Structures / Bridges) professional–to provide strategic and technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of railway and civil infrastructure projects. This senior role combines technical authority, project delivery oversight, client engagement, and business growth responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our capability, while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation.

  • Experience in business development, frameworks and client engagement within the UK Market.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) essential.
  • Strong technical authority in rail and civil engineering.
  • Clear communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in infrastructure design at a senior level, with significant time in management roles. Leadership experience would be preferrable.
  • Proven client relationship management and networking ability.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in contract forms.
  • Preferably endorsed as CRE (Civils/Structures) for Network Rail projects.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Familiarity with BIM, digital engineering tools, and sustainability practices in infrastructure delivery.
  • Good leadership and mentoring skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Industry standards including, Network Rail GRIP/PGS, RIBA, CDM Regulations, Eurocodes, BS/EN).
