You will provide expert OT cybersecurity guidance to site engineering and control system teams, build strong relationships to drive security initiatives, and lead proactive defence and response strategies based on threat intelligence. The position also delivers third‑level support for major OT incidents, monitors the effectiveness of security controls, and maintains dashboards, metrics and documentation. As a subject‑matter expert you will influence OT architecture and solution development.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive OT Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and support the protection of our operational technology environments. The role guides business and technology stakeholders in identifying and managing cybersecurity risks specific to industrial systems and critical infrastructure. It involves developing and enforcing OT‑specific policies, sharing threat intelligence, and promoting awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
The ideal candidate holds a relevant tertiary qualification in Operational Technology (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics) or Information Technology with practical OT experience. You must be able to collaborate across Cybersecurity, IT and operational teams, possess solid understanding of OT/ICS protocols, SCADA, PLCs and Windows/Linux environments, and have experience with network security controls, access management and SIEM technologies. Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, AESCSF or IEC 62443 and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or SQL are highly valued.
