Tasks

-Mentor & Grow: Support your team’s development through every stage of the commissioning cycle—from proposals and design reviews to site inspections, troubleshooting, and client relations. -Deliver Excellence: Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards, all while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and continuous improvement. -Champion Business Development: Build and nurture strong client relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and help expand WSP’s reach in the BC commissioning sector. Explore emerging markets and services, and partner with other departments to unlock internal opportunities and drive innovation. -Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Drive Sustainability: Help clients achieve prestigious certifications like LEED and Energy Star, making a tangible difference in energy efficiency and environmental impact. -Collaborate Nationwide: Work closely with proposal teams, project managers, and commissioning leaders across Canada, sharing knowledge and best practices. -Lead & Inspire: Guide a talented team of Mechanical and Electrical Commissioning professionals on projects that span British Columbia, setting new standards for quality and performance.

What You Bring

-Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams. -Demonstrated success in business development and project pricing. -Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical commissioning consulting, with a deep understanding of industry principles and best practices. -Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, or equivalent industry experience (preferred). -BC P.Eng. designation and LEED certification (preferred).
