Accurately lay out and install conduit and control wiring per NEC, control drawings, and company standards.
All Automation Install Mechanics typically load and unload materials for projects and move these materials into place at the job site. This may involve carrying a load in tight and difficult situations and on uneven terrain.
Direct and work with helpers as required
Communicate to team members including creation of daily log daily
Constant communication with installation supervisor about job status and needs
Coordinate with other trades
Maintain company vehicle and company supplied tools

Thorough understanding of installation tools, techniques, and devices.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
All candidates for this position should be reasonably physically fit and capable of picking up a 50 lb. tool, piece of equipment or piece of material and moving it about either on a jobsite, at a vendor, our warehouse, etc.
Through understanding of product submittals and wiring diagrams.
Understanding of local codes.
Good organizational and planning skills.
Thorough understanding of plans, specifications, and submittals.
Ability to install electrical conduit.
Comfortable climbing ladders and working from scissor lifts at heights.
Ability to install copper piping to support instrumentation.
Understands and executes “completion”.
Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring schematics, and control drawings
Good problem-solving skills (striving for win-win).
Familiar with the safe operation and capable of using hammer type drills and similar tools. (familiar with safe operation of required tools)
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel when needed
Thorough understanding of control submittal packages.
Command of the technical language involved with automation and mechanical systems.
