The Maintenance Technician III plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional apartment experience. This position handles complex work orders, mentors junior technicians, and leads preventative‑maintenance initiatives while adhering to Hawthorne’s quality standards. The role also involves repairing vacant units, assisting with pool upkeep, and ensuring daily building and grounds maintenance.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and an EPA/HVAC certification plus CPO certification. A minimum of three years’ experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical is required, with supervisory or lead‑technician experience strongly preferred.

Work hours are Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, with participation in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies and occasional support for resident events.
