Identify and process change orders resulting from RFIs, submittal reviews, or design revisions, and pursue timely approval and payment.
Maintain frequent communication with project teams to identify and address critical issues and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Manage project closeout activities in coordination with the superintendent and subcontractors, ensuring punch lists and documentation are completed promptly.
Provide accurate monthly project forecasts through completion, identifying potential issues early and developing solutions.
Ensure proper subcontract scopes and values are established in coordination with preconstruction; verify that all insurance and bond requirements are met.
Work with the preconstruction team to verify project scope and costs, establish buyout schedules, and facilitate owner direct purchase procedures as needed.
Collaborate with the superintendent to prepare and update detailed project schedules that align with project goals.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High level of interpersonal skill, professionalism, and discretion in managing sensitive situations.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our Orlando, FL team. This position serves as the central leader of a project team — coordinating between owners, architects, engineers, trade partners, and internal staff. This position ensures that each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Clancy & Theys’ quality standards.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a construction Project Management role.
Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, contracts, and best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in construction management software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD and scheduling software preferred.
Minimum 2-year Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Valid driver’s license, in good standing.
Ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
