- Create and maintain a bank of controllers to simulate real BMS installations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Quality, R&D, etc.)
- Develop and follow test plans
- Provide necessary equipment to developers
- Serve as a technical reference in BMS and HVAC for internal teams
- Program controllers and develop graphical interfaces
- Support technical support in diagnosing complex cases
- Identify needs to effectively carry out product testing
- Propose research directions to support innovation
- Use the Distech building to test products in real-world conditions
- Document test cases and configurations in Azure DevOps
- Act as the technical reference for automation and HVAC
- Use your bank of controllers to simulate BMS installations
- Participate in training for test and R&D teams
- Ensure availability and optimal use of testing tools
- Organize, classify, and share technical information
- Test the proper functioning of our products as used by customers
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define product requirements
- Conduct tests based on product specifications
- Contribute to team skill development (training and mentoring)
- Programming of input/output logic

- Experience in quality control of software and hardware products
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
- 2–3-year degree in electrical, electronic, or industrial engineering (DEC)
- Organized, methodical, and results-oriented
- Proficiency in electricity, instrumentation, and control
- Good manual skills
- Analytical thinking and big-picture vision
- Knowledge of BACnet, LON, Modbus, and Mbus protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with embedded software (low-level)
- Bilingual in French and English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Good understanding of HVAC automation systems
