Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes.
Install, replace, and program televisions.
Paint designated areas and items.
Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings.
Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.
Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Perform minor plumbing functions.
Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, and light bulbs.
Repair furniture.
Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps as well as preventative maintenance on units.
Trace and repair all types of water lines.

At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly courteouse and service oriented manner.
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
