Description

As a Process Operator you will manufacture finished products according to production schedules, using specified formulations and process instructions, while performing in‑process and final product testing to meet quality standards.

You will join a close‑knit team, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, help train new staff, and take on Team Leader responsibilities when needed, including covering out‑of‑hours shifts.

• Operate plant equipment safely in line with SOPs, Responsible Care standards, and all relevant HSE and legislative requirements.
• Process, test, label, and pack finished products to agreed quality and production standards across multiple plant areas.
• Accurately record and maintain all production and quality data, ensuring timely follow‑up where required.
• Work collaboratively across shifts and departments to meet production schedules, supporting training of new team members.
• Support plant supervision as required, including deputising for the Team Leader and covering out‑of‑hours shifts.

Requirements

• Experience in a processing plant or operational environment (chemical industry experience desirable).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Flexible and able to work a 3‑shift pattern.
