What you would be doing
  • To impart safety training and coordinate & assist for conducting mock drills.
  • Stop and correct at risk behaviours and unsafe conditions and EHS related non-compliances
  • To review JSAs, HIRACs, OCPs, Legal Register, ERP and other system documents periodically.
  • Carry out Daily safety rounds in manufacturing shops, yards and other areas and report safety observations and provide the supports to area in-charges for corrective actions.
  • To ensure proper implementation of safe work practices and work permit systems
  • To carry out the safety audit and inspections as per safety plan and maintain the records.
  • To conduct Safety Tool box talks, Hazard Identification rounds, BBS rounds, Monthly counselling, etc.
  • To carry out the theme based safety inspections.
  • To verify and monitor all routine and non-routine activities and check the work permit requirements for hot work, working at height, excavation, open field radiography
  • To investigate all incidents including near miss, first aid injury, lost time injury and fire incident and take follow ups for implementation of corrective actions.
