What you would be doing

  • Converts cash deals to finance where appropriate
  • Works with sales to secure a reasonable profit from every sale Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees
  • Produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
  • Checks all documentation for, including but not limited to, correct title, lien information, taxes and customer information
  • Submission of financial packages and closing of finance packages
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Coordination of finance opportunities to enhance the level of new sales and rental unit conversions
  • Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Track and coordinate deal package from submittal to completion, including funding from lender
  • Provides reports to Management as requested
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with multiple finance sources, including the manufacturers
  • Regularly works indoors office environment and remote from home in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Providing payoffs for conversion contracts, providing quotes on finance options and handling communication between customers, sales, and lenders.

  • Finance or Business Degree and/or 4-6 practical financial training or experience is required, in lieu of education
  • PC literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and the Internet
  • Frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to learn and develop HOLT’s VBL Culture to successfully model behaviors that align with the company's values and mission
  • High levels of communication and moderate in person interaction with customers
  • Results oriented and work successfully with minimal supervision
  • One or more years of Finance Sales consumer or commercial experience is required
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job duties and responsibilities
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred
  • Work in a fast- paced environment and schedule priority work effectively
  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
  • Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
  • Strong finance acumen preferred
