Develops transportable micro modular reactors for reliable carbon‑free power anywhere.
The Nuclear Safety Engineer will support the development, evaluation, and verification of safety-related systems and analyses for Hadron Energy’s micro modular reactor (MMR). This individual will collaborate with reactor design, thermal-hydraulics, licensing, and systems engineering teams to ensure that the reactor meets or exceeds all applicable safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.
You will play a central role in defining the safety case for Hadron’s innovative reactor design—conducting analyses, preparing documentation, and supporting the NRC licensing process while helping shape the next generation of safe, low-carbon energy technology.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Safety Engineer, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The position is ideal for candidates with strong technical experience in nuclear safety analysis, probabilistic risk assessment, and regulatory compliance who are passionate about advancing safe, scalable nuclear technology.
