Description

Under the direction of the Supervisor – Facility Project Management, the incumbent will identify, analyze, coordinate, and manage projects related to the construction and maintenance of facilities. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, executing, and reporting on project activities and progress. The role covers the full lifecycle of facility projects from initiation through close‑out.

• Oversee design, construction, operation, and maintenance of facility projects.
• Manage projects through all phases, from initiation to close‑out.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes, budgets, cash flows, and integrated schedules.
• Create and execute work plans, resource allocations, and daily project operations.
• Identify risks, devise contingency plans, and mitigate project issues.
• Coordinate contractors and consultants, monitor schedules and budgets, and deliver status reports.
• Prepare long‑term schedules for major projects and align with site management.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives, including analysis, execution, and reporting.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend company initiatives.
• Perform QA/QC inspections to ensure compliance with design, operational, and safety standards.
• Quantify and present project risks, costs, and benefits.
• Foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and the public.
• Assist supervisors in preparing cash flow forecasts and long‑term budgets.
• Capture lessons learned and implement best‑practice improvements.
• Coordinate relocation projects, covering HVAC, electrical, LAN, communications, and workstation requirements.
• Produce analysis, reports, charts, and graphs to support planning and recommendations.
• Review and create one‑line diagrams and building floor plans using MS Visio or AutoCAD.
• Support daily facility operations across all functional areas.
• Adhere to all corporate policies, ethics, and relevant government regulations.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture is required. Candidates should have 0‑5 years of relevant experience, with additional years considered an asset. The position demands a strong foundation in engineering principles and design specifications.

Essential skills include project management expertise—creating work plans, schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation—and the ability to perform financial analyses and cost‑benefit evaluations. Knowledge of environmental, ADA, building, fire, and OSHA regulations is required, as is proficiency with Procore, AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite. The candidate must demonstrate problem‑solving abilities, effective written and verbal communication, and the capacity to maintain confidential information. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work with officers, managers, employees, contractors, and the public.

A valid driver’s license and compliance with the company’s Driving Program are mandatory. The employee must adhere to all corporate policies, codes of ethics, and applicable federal, safety, and environmental regulations.
