Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety into project planning and execution
Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring all employees and subcontractors are engaged in best practices
Lead electrical safety training programs for field crews, supervisors, and leadership teams
Develop and manage comprehensive safety programs for electrical and construction (transmission, distribution, substations) projects
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, NESC, and other industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Conduct job site safety audits and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions
Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing root cause analysis and strategies for continuous improvement
Requirements

8+ years
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field strongly preferred
CSP certification required if bachelor's degree not complete
Ability to identify hazards and implement proactive solutions
Strong Knowledge of Safety Regulations; OSHA 30/OSHA 500, NFPA 70E, DOT, ANSI, and utility safety standards
Ability to engage teams and influence a culture of safety
Experience in analyzing metrics and audits to improve safety performance
CUSP, CHST certifications are preferred
Eight plus years in construction safety management with 4 plus years in power delivery
