Position SummaryWe are seeking experienced Mechanical & Piping Insulators to join our self-perform team for ongoing work at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. This role involves applying insulating materials to mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.
Completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program preferred.
High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required.
4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
Pay: $30-45 per hour

All work is performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to the Kings Bay military base.
