Manufacturing Manager - Operation Management

Description

The Manufacturing Manager – Operation Management is responsible for performing daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including service shops. The department also plays a supportive role in knowledge management by gathering data and storing it in a system.

• Oversee front‑line manufacturing employees across multiple departments and hold them accountable for team and individual goals.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly, managing production schedules and material flow.
• Drive the team to meet quality, cost, and delivery performance targets.
• Apply problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement tools to boost manufacturing efficiency and throughput.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, and other functions for technical and organizational alignment.
• Provide technical guidance on processes, equipment, and new product applications while training and mentoring team members.
• Manage efficient use of personnel, materials, and equipment resources.

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Possess experience in manufacturing/production across multiple product lines.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
