Site Safety Supervisor

Site Safety Supervisor responsible for maintaining health and safety plans, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies.
Assist in the assessment and procurement of safety supplies, equipment, small tools, and services needed to ensure ample supplies are available and in good working condition (ex. air monitors, fall protection and retrieval equipment, supplied air systems, patient packaging equipment, lock-out/tag-out equipment, etc.).
Prepare, amend, and maintain pre-task safety plans and task instruction sheets.
Mentor and enforce employees on the job in safety requirements including regulations, customer requirements, company policies, procedures, and protocols.
Conduct various site safety briefings and meetings.
Qualify or train employees on powered industrial equipment, such as fork trucks, burden carriers, ride-on scrubbers, industrial carts, etc.
Establish and maintain the site-specific health and safety plan and its components.
Coordinate the delivery of company health and safety training to all new hire personnel, and recurrent training for existing personnel.
Validate employee training, knowledge, skills, and competence in the field by conducting Safety Observation tours.
Prepare incident reports and conduct proper investigations, including, safety stand down meetings, final incident investigation reports and corrective actions.
Participate in operational planning meetings and jobsite walk-throughs as appropriate.
Conduct various audits: Safety Observation Tours, equipment inspections, and compliance to site-specific health and safety plan, pre-task safety plans and task instruction sheets.
Conduct respirator fit testing as needed.
Ensure employees are current with medical monitoring and training requirements.
Develop and deliver specific training to affected personnel, as job requires.
