Key responsibilities include assisting the Fannie Mae DUS underwriting team with loan narratives and financial models, collaborating with underwriting, production, and closing teams to set deal timelines, supporting credit reviews, performing property inspections and lease audits, maintaining due‑diligence checklists, conducting market research with tools such as CoStar, evaluating loan risks against Fannie Mae DUS guidelines, and coordinating loan committee packages.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. While prior multifamily or commercial real‑estate underwriting experience is preferred, it is not required. Strong written and verbal communication, intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, and advanced Excel data‑manipulation skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze complex financial documents and a curiosity for professional growth.
