Prepare proposals and contracts
Provide guidance, training and mentoring to team members
Manage project issues
Manage client expectations, and ensure project deliverables, schedules, objectives, and budgets are met
Maintain accurate records to document work performed
Plan, initiate, execute, supervise and deliver a diverse range of survey projects
Develop strong client relations, participate in business development activities including identifying & securing new clients, increase work with existing clients and representing the organization at industry events
Work with other Survey Project Managers to co-ordinate, schedule and review the activities of field and office staff
Provide information as required by senior management; and,
Liaise with both internal and external Project Managers and clients
Lead survey team on projects, communicate scope and scheduling information to team members
Manage project billings, expenses, and receivables

Minimum of 5 years as a British Columbia Land Surveyor in good standing with the Association of British Columbia Land Surveyors
Proven ability to manage multiple survey projects of varying scope concurrently, while maintaining organization, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations
Valid BC driver’s license;
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
Diploma or Degree in Geomatics is an asset
Engineering survey experience including high precision control surveys (conventional/GNSS) and deformation monitoring is an asset
Extensive legal survey experience, with particular strength in airspace and strata surveys, considered an asset
