The Lead Day Porter is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the building's cleaning staff to ensure that offices, hallways, stairs, and other interior areas are maintained in a clean and orderly condition while also performing basic cleaning duties as needed.
In this role the employee oversees both interior and exterior cleaning operations, manages staff schedules, handles inventory control, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and equipment usage standards.
Key competencies required include strong organization and communication skills, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, thoroughness, effective collaboration, and a results‑oriented mindset.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least two years of related supervisory experience, basic mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with the MS Office Suite and work order systems.
The position operates in a professional office environment with regular travel between properties, requiring the ability to lift at least 50 lb, stoop, climb, and use vision and communication skills to perform duties safely.
Compensation ranges from $14.88 to $17.50 per hour, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement, life and disability insurance, and paid time off; the company is an equal‑opportunity employer.
