Assistant Project Manger

Description

Position Overview As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support project execution by coordinating field crews, organizing data, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. This is primarily an office role with occasional field responsibilities. Candidates with a PLS or LSIT certification are preferred but not required.

• Organize and review survey data to create accurate deliverables.
• Attend project briefings and client meetings as needed.
• Occasionally assist with field work.
• Package and submit finalized data for client delivery.
• Perform research, calculations, and drafting tasks.
• Maintain project task lists and ensure clarity on project scope.
• Provide feedback to field teams and collaborate with project managers.
• Communicate with field crews regarding data collection requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• PLS or LSIT certification preferred but not required.
• 2-year degree with 3-5 years of related surveying experience, or 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Carlson, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
