Coordination of activities of several disciplines may be required for projects of significant or moderate scope, or a combination of smaller projects.
Performs tasks requiring applications of standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.
Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the site civil design and analysis as it relates to rail projects.
Serve as a team member on multi-disciplined projects.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.
Will direct and coordinate work associated with the study and/or design of civil site development infrastructure systems, including but not limited to rail and stormwater.
Assist task leaders and project managers with various project duties.
Regularly coordinates with design team members, clients, sub-consultants, utility companies or other project stakeholders.
Works with senior staff on technical aspects of a project.
Assists with supervision of staff and task management on major projects.

Experience with leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
Master Degree in Civil Engineering and 6 years civil engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
Bachelor Degree in Civil or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. and 7 years civil engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Required or
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) License Preferred
Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
Standard design of civil project work.
Ability to travel.
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. and 7 years civil engineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Required or
Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong computer skills (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCADD), and/or hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, civil analysis programs.
