

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
The role involves performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshooting basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues, and responding to warranty calls. You will load controller software, conduct complex commissioning and diagnostics on sensors and actuators, document progress, calibrate systems with electronic test equipment, and complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports. Effective communication with customers, contractors, and management, as well as adherence to safety standards, is essential.
Candidates need at least two years of experience servicing electronic or mechanical HVAC systems and knowledge of HVAC controls, facilities management, and equipment installation. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to explain technical information to diverse audiences, leadership for guiding mechanics on non‑critical equipment, and proficiency with PC software, hand and power tools, and attention to detail are required. Preferred qualifications include low‑voltage wiring skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and Visio, and awareness of licensing requirements for low‑voltage device installation.
