Promote Technical Excellence: Apply advanced expertise in H&H modeling tools (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM) to ensure innovative project delivery that meets client needs.
Shape Regional Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to craft and execute a long-term strategy for the growth and development of KFA’s Stormwater Practice in Central Texas.

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation is a strong plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools, such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and Civil 3D or MicroStation.
Experience with advanced modeling software (XPSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS 2D).
Proven success working with Central Texas municipalities, especially the City of Austin.
Texas PE license and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
Expertise in FEMA floodplain modeling, floodplain mapping, and TCEQ water quality design.
Minimum 10 years of experience delivering municipal stormwater projects, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or project management role.
Background in channel design and stream bank stabilization.
Experience managing City of Austin Watershed Protection Department (WPD) projects.
