You will support the Site Cleaning Manager in operational management of the contract, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role requires leading and engaging a janitorial and waste removal team in a physically demanding, fast‑paced shopping centre environment. Our teams consist of ambitious, motivated individuals who create a fun and friendly workplace.
- Lead and engage the janitorial and waste removal team to deliver high‑quality cleaning services throughout the shopping centre, including welfare, social, and production areas.
- Oversee waste handling on site, ensuring proper segregation and readiness for transportation via approved waste streams.
- Train team members on the safe operation and maintenance of walk‑behind and ride‑on sweepers, scrubber‑dryers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in clean, well‑maintained, and safe condition.
- Respond promptly to spillages and on‑call requests from the ABM on‑site team.
- Communicate effectively with team members and line manager to ensure coordinated operations.
- Ensure all personnel wear appropriate PPE and comply with health and safety legislation and company policies.
