The Senior Project Manager (CC Associate) based in Birmingham leads project management activities for client accounts, property portfolios, or large facilities. The role involves coordinating with clients, property or facility management teams, and internal project staff to deliver project objectives.
The position monitors and coordinates the execution of services and processes related to client‑contracted project management and tenant‑improvement consulting. It provides detailed progress reports to the Account/Portfolio Manager and collaborates closely with building and facility management.
Supervisory responsibilities may include managing Project Managers, Space Planners, and CAD Operators, ensuring quality work, timely reporting, and adherence to budgets. The manager also participates in marketing services and advises on requisitions, change orders, and contractual matters.
- Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each phase.
- Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients and management at all project phases.
- Assist in selecting and contracting consultants and construction teams, integrating related C&W components as needed.
- Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices; advise the Account/Portfolio Manager and facility team.
- Participate directly in marketing and presenting services to clients.
- Supervise and manage performance, development, work quality, and reporting of Project Managers, Space Planners, and CAD Operators.
- Provide all necessary documentation and reports to the client and facility management team.
- Cooperate with building/facility personnel to achieve corporate goals for quality, service, cost, and profit.
- Report major problems, findings, and results to the Account/Portfolio Manager and senior facility manager with comprehensive recommendations.
- Obtain required approvals before organizational changes, commitments, or expenditures exceed the approved budget.
- Establish goals and timetables for supervised units and sub‑units as needed.
- Select, hire, delegate authority, and assign responsibilities for subordinate performance.
- Train, develop, motivate, and discipline subordinates; review and appraise their performance.
- Implement government laws and regulations and adhere to established rulings of authorities.
