What you would be doing

- Motivating trade partners and subcontractors to maintain high standards and deadlines.
- Assisting team members as needed to keep projects running smoothly.
- Ensuring safe and secure access to sites by building temporary walkways and pathways.
- Conducting site inspections, performing quality control checks, and approving completed work.
- Prepare homes for pre-occupancy walkthroughs, ensuring they are clean, complete, and ready for client presentation.
- Assist with quality control (QC) checks to ensure homes meet Akash standards prior to possession.
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites, including removing construction waste, sweeping, vacuuming, and shoveling as needed.
- Supporting quality control by preparing sites for inspections and performing general labor tasks.
- Coordinating with Site Supervisors and Project Managers on material deliveries, timelines, and workflow.
- Support light framing tasks, including the installation of handrails, landings in garages, and other finishing elements as required.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic construction principles
- Construction Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using hand tools and power tools for minor site-related tasks.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work well with others while also completing tasks independently.
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable Transportation: A truck is preferred, along with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- General Labor & Repairs Experience: Skills in framing, drywall, painting, plumbing, installing deck stairs and railings, replacing deck boards, and performing other minor repairs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues on-site, with a willingness to take initiative.
