  • Operate and oversee equipment (tractors, skid steers, loaders, chainsaws, mowers).
  • Manage turf care, trimming, pruning, litter pick-up, and overall property appearance.
  • Train, coach, and guide your crew to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Transition into snow and ice operations during winter (plows, salters, shovels).
  • Maintain safety standards—because safety is just as important as appearance.
  • Lead and motivate crews maintaining commercial properties: retail, industrial, and corporate.
  • Handle plaza “curb appeal” tasks—signpost repairs, painting touch-ups, and small fixes.
  • Act as the main contact for clients and property managers—share updates, manage service requests, and ensure expectations are met.

  • Overtime and occasional travel may be required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or property services.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and contract requirements.
  • College diploma in landscaping, horticulture, or construction (asset).
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with basic tech: Word, Excel, and log sheets.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Safety gear required (steel-toed boots, glasses, etc.).
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
